This Privacy Policy defines the principles for collecting, processing, and using personal data obtained by the website ape-studio.pl (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).
Definitions and abbreviations
GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L 119, p. 1);
PERSONAL DATA: any data that allows us to identify a natural person. A natural person who can be identified is one whose identity can be determined directly or indirectly;
DATA PROCESSING: an operation or set of operations performed on personal data. Data processing includes: collecting, recording, transferring, archiving, storing, retrieving, browsing, using, combining, etc.;
PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER /PDC/: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other entity that manages personal data and determines how they are processed;
PROCESSOR: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

General principles
Using the Website does not require providing personal data unless the User intends to send an inquiry. Providing personal data by the User is always a voluntary decision. However, the lack of consent to the processing of personal data may prevent the provision of services. The data controller secures personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, damage, or destruction, and processes the entrusted data based on legal regulations. During the use of the Website, additional information may be collected, in particular: the IP address assigned to your computer or the external IP address of your Internet provider, domain name, browser type, access time, and type of operating system. Navigation data may also be collected from Users, including information about links and references they decide to click on or other actions taken on the Website.
Principles of personal data processing
The following data will be processed for the Website User:
- first and last name
- email address.
The processing of personal data is carried out:
- to present the scope of our products and/or a preliminary concept of services before concluding an agreement based on interest in our offer (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR basis)
- to conclude a relevant purchase-sale or service provision agreement based on interest in our offer (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR basis);
- for archival (evidential) purposes, which are the implementation of our legitimate interest in securing information in case of a legal need to prove facts (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- for possible determination, pursuit, or defense of claims, which is the implementation of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- for customer satisfaction research, which is the implementation of our legitimate interest in determining the quality of our service and the level of satisfaction of our customers with products and services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- based on the consent expressed to process their personal data (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);
Information about personal data recipients
Personal data may be disclosed to other entities for the purpose of selling our products and services, i.e., our partners, which are companies we cooperate with by combining products or services.
Data may also be accessed by our subcontractors, accounting firms, legal firms, IT service providers, liquidators, and service providers in the context of damage liquidation and agency services.
Retention periods for personal data
Personal data will be stored for the period specified by law and, in the case of consent to data processing, until that consent is withdrawn.
Basic User Rights
The User has the right to:
- Request access to personal data – the data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed, and, if so, access to the data. The controller shall provide the User with a copy of the processed personal data upon request.
- Correct personal data – Users have the right to correct personal data concerning them if they are incorrect. Considering the purposes of the processing, they have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by providing an additional statement.
- Delete personal data (“right to be forgotten”) – Users have the right to request, if the circumstances provided by law are met, the immediate deletion of personal data concerning them, and the Controller is obliged to delete such personal data without undue delay.
- Restrict the processing of Users’ personal data – in such a case, the Controller, at the User’s request, will indicate such personal data, and their processing may be limited solely to specific purposes.
- Transfer personal data – under certain conditions, Users have the right to receive, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, the personal data concerning them processed by the Controller, and they have the right to transfer such personal data to another entity.
- Object – under certain circumstances, Users have the right to object at any time (for reasons related to their particular situation) to the processing of their personal data, and the Controller may be obliged to cease processing such personal data.
- Withdraw consent at any time,
- All rights can be exercised by Users via a message sent to the personal data Controller’s address.
- Furthermore, if a User believes that their personal data are being processed unlawfully, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Basic obligations of the Data Controller
ape-studio.pl takes particular care in the data processing process to ensure the protection of the interests of Users and Clients so that data are:
- processed in accordance with the law,
- collected only for specified purposes,
- lawful,
- not subjected to further processing that would be unlawful, adequate, and sufficient for processing purposes,
- stored with the highest security standards,
- stored in a form that allows the identification of persons they concern.
Personal data are stored in a data set that has been secured with technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of data processing. Access to the personal data set is limited to persons authorized by the personal data controller.
Cookies mechanism, IP address, and external scripts
- “Cookies” – small text files sent by a web server and saved on the user’s hard drive. Default cookie settings allow only the server that created them to read the information contained in them.
- The cookies mechanism is safe for the computers of Website Users. In particular, viruses or other unwanted or malicious software cannot penetrate Users’ computers through this mechanism. However, Users can restrict or disable cookies in their browsers.
If this option is used, the Website can still be used, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.
- Cookies do not contain any personal data of Users.
